Privacy Policy for SafetyForms

Last Updated: [Date]

Safety-Labs UK ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application, SafetyForms (the "App"), collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

The design of SafetyForms ensures maximum privacy by keeping data local to your device.

A. Local-Only Form Data (Not Sent to Our Servers)

Information you enter into the App during safety and health inspections remains entirely on your device unless you explicitly export or share it:

  • Form Content: Text, responses, signatures, and other data you enter into safety inspection forms are stored locally.
  • Media Files: Photos, videos, and audio recordings you choose to attach are stored on your device.

Note: This data is not automatically uploaded, synced, or shared with Safety-Labs UK servers. It is strictly local to the device you use to fill out the form.

B. Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, we may automatically collect limited technical information:

  • Device Information: We collect basic hardware model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers necessary for App functionality, subscription management, and diagnosing issues.
  • Usage Data: We collect diagnostic and performance data, such as crash reports and app launch times, to improve stability and reliability.

2. How We Use Your Information

Because your form data and media are stored locally and not transmitted to us, we only use the technical data we collect to:

  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • Monitor and improve the performance, stability, and usability of the App.

We do not use any information to track you across other companies' apps or websites (Targeted Advertising), nor do we sell your data to data brokers.

3. How We Share Your Information

Since your inspection data remains local, we only share your technical information in these limited circumstances:

  • With Service Providers: We use authorized third-party service providers (such as analytics or crash reporting services). These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • With Your Explicit Action: If you manually choose to export or email a generated PDF report, that action is performed via your device's native sharing capabilities. Safety-Labs UK does not intercept or read these transmitted reports.
  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose technical information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

4. Data Storage and Security

Technical data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit. Your inspection form data and media files are stored locally on your device; we strongly recommend you implement device-level security (e.g., strong passwords/PINs, device encryption) to protect your local data.

5. Your Privacy Choices

You have control over your data:

  • Device Permissions: You can enable or disable access to your device's camera, microphone, photo gallery, or location services through your device settings.
  • Data Deletion: You can clear your local form data at any time by uninstalling the application or clearing the application's local data storage in your device settings.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the App or by other means before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
